# VALIDATION_ERROR

> Validation error

## What happened

The request body, query string or path parameters did not pass validation, or the body is not valid JSON.

## How to fix it

Read `error.message` and `error.details` for the field that failed, correct the request, and send it again. Retrying the same request returns the same error.

## Example response

An illustrative example. The `message` wording and the contents of `details` vary; branch on `error.code`.
