# PRE_REPLY_LIMIT_REACHED

> Too many texts in a row without a reply

## What happened

Your workspace has sent the contact 6 texts in a row, across all your phone numbers, without a response from them (a text or tapback, or a message from them in a group; calls don't count). This applies before and after their first reply. The details say how many texts are unanswered.

## How to fix it

Wait for the contact to respond, or reach them another way. With an API key, `pre_reply_override: true` sends a 7th text once. Nothing more is sent until the contact responds, and then the count starts again. Zapier and other connected apps can't use the override.
