# CONTACT_NOT_VERIFIED

## What happened

Your workspace is on the Free Plan, and this contact hasn't verified yet. On the Free Plan, you can message only contacts who have texted your Free Plan number to verify.

## How to fix it

Don't retry until the contact is verified. In Blujay, go to **Contacts** and choose **Add verified contact**, then have the contact text your Free Plan number (Blujay shows a QR code that fills in the text for them). Once Blujay shows them as verified, send again. To message people without verifying them, upgrade to a dedicated phone number.
